Helping your child explore a career, without guessing

Choosing a direction, whether that's after GCSEs, before A-levels finish, or somewhere in between, is one of the hardest decisions a teenager is asked to make, usually with the least information to make it confidently. yourPRODICTA exists to close that gap, not with more advice, but with something more useful: a genuine, realistic way to try a career before committing to it.

What this actually is

Try-a-Career is a short, free exploration built around a real career your child is curious about. Instead of a personality quiz, or another list of questions about what they enjoy, it puts them through a realistic scenario from that actual role, a genuine decision to make, real pressure, an honest situation. What they do reveals something no conversation or questionnaire can.

Afterwards, they get a plain, honest account of their strengths and the areas they haven't shown yet. No score. No pass or fail. Nothing that feels like another test at an age already full of them.

Common questions parents ask

Is this actually free?

Yes, the first exploration is completely free, no card details needed. If your child wants to explore further directions afterward, that's optional and clearly priced, never required.

Is my child's data safe?

Yes. Nothing your child explores, writes, or discovers is ever shared with a school, an employer, or anyone else, unless your child explicitly chooses to share it themselves. It's built to be a private space for genuine self-exploration, not something they need to perform for.

Does this affect their school record or count toward anything official?

No. This is entirely separate from school, exams, and any official record. It exists purely to help your child understand themselves and explore options, nothing here is reported anywhere.

What if they don't know what career to even try?

That's completely normal, and genuinely fine. They can type in any job title they're curious about, even a vague one, or explore a few different directions over time. There's no wrong way to start.

Can we do this together?

Yes, and it often works best that way. Many parents sit alongside their child for the exploration, then talk through what came up afterward, grounded in something real rather than a guess.
